Your responsibilities:
β’ Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll (UK) including schemas, rules, and payroll processes
β’ Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation (HMRC requirements, taxes, NI, pensions, statutory payments such as SSP/SMP/SPP)
β’ Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze payroll requirements
β’ Perform system configuration, testing, and documentation
β’ Support payroll runs, reconciliation, and troubleshooting issues
β’ Integrate Payroll with Time Management, SAP SuccessFactors, or third-party systems
β’ Assist with year-end payroll processing and statutory reporting (P60, P11D, RTI submissions, etc.)
β’ Provide support during data migration, upgrades, and system enhancements
β’ Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support
β’ Create functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW objects)
β’ Provide knowledge transfer and end-user suppor
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
β’ Strong experience in SAP HCM Payroll (UK)
β’ In-depth understanding of UK payroll regulations and HMRC compliance
β’ Experience with Real Time Information (RTI) submissions
β’ Hands-on experience in payroll schemas and PCRs (Payroll Control Rules)
β’ Expertise in payroll processes including:
o Gross-to-net calculations
o Statutory payments
o Pension schemes (Auto-enrolment)
β’ Experience with SAP Time Management integration
β’ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
β’ Experience working in implementation or support projects
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
β’ Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
β’ Knowledge of SAP HR (Personnel Administration, Organizational Management)
β’ Exposure to S/4HANA or SAP HCM for S/4HANA
β’ Familiarity with data migration tools (LSMW, LTMC, or equivalent)
β’ Basic understanding of ABAP debugging
