As part of a SAP Brownfield Implementation and Enhancement Programme, this role supports the organization’s business transformation journey to transition into a secure, modern, cloud-aligned SAP S/4HANA platform.
The objective is to enable continuous transformation, operational agility, and AI-driven growth.
The role is aligned with a decoupling strategy focused on establishing a clean core architecture, ensuring that the SAP S/4HANA system leverages standard SAP capabilities across key business domains, while minimizing customizations and technical debt.
Overall, the role is pivotal in maintaining environment integrity, minimizing risks, and accelerating delivery timelines while aligning with enterprise governance, compliance standards, and the broader goal of building a future-ready, AI-enabled SAP platform.
Your responsibilities:
The SAP O2C Consultant is responsible for managing and enhancing the Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes within the existing SAP landscape.
The role focuses on analyzing current business processes, identifying improvement areas, and implementing system enhancements while ensuring stability of live operations.
The consultant works closely with business and technical teams to optimize order management, pricing, billing, and invoicing processes, ensuring seamless integration with related systems such as Finance, Supply Chain, and POS.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
Ownership: Take end-to-end accountability for SAP SD deliverables from solution design through implementation, proactively resolving issues to ensure business requirements are fully met.
Delivery Focus: Drive timely, high-quality delivery of SAP S/4HANA SD project milestones, ensuring all deliverables are on schedule and in adherence to SAP best practices and standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. MM, FI, technical) to ensure integrated end-to-end solutions, fostering a collaborative project environment and knowledge sharing across team members.
Client Engagement: Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, serve as a trusted SD subject matter expert, and manage stakeholder expectations to achieve high client satisfaction.
Quality: Enforce quality standards in all SD configuration, testing, and documentation efforts, ensuring solutions align with SAP Activate methodology and pass thorough testing and review processes.
Outcome Orientation: Focus on delivering tangible business outcomes aligned with the client’s strategic objectives, ensuring the SAP SD solution drives process improvements and value realization.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
Extensive knowledge in supply chain operations area for retail clients.
Strong understanding of O2C cycle, Shipment and delivery configuration, output type configuration, IDOCs configuration, IBD/OBD integration with WMS and Inventory management.
Hands-on experience in retail concepts such as cross docking, flowthrough, replenishment, and allocation processes.
Good understanding of POS and retail integration with CAR.
Previous exposure with CAR and Retail Pricing will be added benefit.
Well versed with use case designs and Business flows.
Functional specifications, Unit Test Documents, SIT Documents.
Excellent MS Office skills (Especially Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word and Microsoft PowerPoint)
Test case designs.
SAP S/4 HANA certified in Sales above 1909 will be added advantage.
