We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Assisted Sales product group at Informa, working on the One Informa Lead-to-Cash transformation programme. This is a Squad-level Senior BA role. The role sits in the Assisted Sales product group (within Buying Experience), supporting the Product Lead and one of the two Product Managers on squad-level work that could be focusing on a part of the Lead to Cash journey.

Your responsibilities:

  • Discovery support: You will support the Product Lead and Product Managers on epic-level Discovery sessions. Discovery in this context means detailed understanding of the business — sales motions, commercial models, exception flows, capability gaps and requirement gathering. Your work will sit around and across Discovery sessions. Specific responsibilities include:
    • Pre-session preparation, including Miro board setup, synthesizing pre-reads, and building structured one-pagers on likely topics and open questions
    • Providing system walkthroughs and Salesforce demos in stakeholder sessions once familiar with the platform configuration
    • Capturing detailed business requirements and business processes
    • Mapping requirements and gaps to system capabilities and maintaining a fit-gap and complexity register
    • Adding detail and layers to business artefacts produced by upstream commercial teams without duplicating their work
    • Working with Business Process Analysts during and after Discovery to add Salesforce platform context to business process documentation
    • Post-session synthesis, theme identification, and drafting playback materials for review and refinement
    • Maintaining a consolidated view of open Discovery items, SME inputs, and pending decisions, and chasing these through to closure
    • Pulling or coordinating the retrieval of data needed to support Discovery decisions directly from Salesforce where possible, or via coordination with the relevant teams
  • Squad level support: You will also support work within one of the product squads but will involve a lot of cross squad coordination. This includes:
    • Detailed requirements gathering and user story writing - A huge focus of this role would be to synthesize User Stories from details captured from detailed requirement gathering sessions / Discovery sessions with SMEs
    • Helping the squad and Squad’s Product Owner understand and groom the stories
    • Reviewing the Acceptance Criteria and Test Scripts for each User Story ensuring we have good coverage
    • Working with Business Process Analysts to ensure all the process documents are captured and maintained
    • Working with the Change team as needed to review the change material
    • Supporting the coordination wave coming with UAT, test readiness, and cutover as the programme approaches go-live
    • Refining SME decks, Discovery playback presentations, hotspot and risk registers, and capability maps
    • Producing one-pagers, summaries, and decision memos for business / SME audiences
    • Building and maintaining a SharePoint site for the product squad as a living communication and progress-tracking tool
    • Running coordination activities during UK hours that would otherwise be blocked by time zone gaps with the Product Lead and Product Manager
    • Product decision-making - direction and decisions remain with the Squad PO (Proxy PO, Product Managers and Product Lead)

Your Profile:

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Salesforce and integration expertise: Solid working knowledge of Salesforce, particularly Sales Cloud, and integrations with ERP and other downstream systems. Familiarity with CPQ and ideally some exposure to Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA). Comfortable giving demos and walkthroughs of Salesforce-based solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Business analysis: Strong end-to-end understanding of the Lead-to-Cash domain. Experience independently planning and running stakeholder sessions. A clear sense of what is critical vs. nice-to-have, with the ability to ask the right questions to pressure-test business criticality. Comfort presenting to and being challenged by senior stakeholders. Experience producing artefacts such as process flows, fit-gap logs, requirements / hotspot / risk registers, capability maps, and high-level requirements documents. Strong with data and report-building.
  • Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: Experience working across multiple teams and workstreams in complex programmes. Strong PowerPoint skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Clear written communication. Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams; understands Scrum ceremonies and rhythm. Experience working with product teams, ideally embedded in one previously. Experience in the events, exhibitions, or sponsorships industry, or familiarity with how these businesses operate commercially. Exposure to SAP or Oracle and Salesforce-to-SAP or Salesforce-to-Oracle integration patterns.
