The Product/Data Designer in the Innovation & Deployment team within Audit Technology is responsible for designing intuitive, insightful, and human-centred user experiences across data-driven audit tools and platforms. This role combines UX, UI, and data visualisation expertise to shape interfaces that support complex audit workflows, ensuring usability, accessibility, and business impact in every design decision.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data experts to define user journeys, information architectures, and interaction models for audit technology products.
  • Design intuitive interfaces and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data insights to audit professionals.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design platforms.
  • Ensure consistency with design systems and brand standards while meeting the unique needs of audit workflows and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback.
  • Champion accessibility and inclusive design practices to ensure tools serve diverse users across skill levels and assistive technologies.
  • Collaborate with data and engineering teams to optimise the delivery of responsive, performant, and scalable UI components.
  • Advocate for design thinking and user empathy across the technology team.

  • Adhere to and promote Information Security related processes, Software Audit Tools accreditation requirements, procedures, and role-based responsibilities.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Proven experience in UX/UI design, product design, or data visualisation roles within enterprise or professional service environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design of digital products, with an emphasis on complex workflows or data-centric tools.
  • Fluency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and familiarity with front-end technologies.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) and user research methodologies.
  • Experience designing for technical, regulated, or analytical user groups is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical mindset with an ability to understand complex technical concepts and align these with business priorities.
  • Strong business acumen (e.g. understanding business strategy, commercial thinking, portfolio prioritisation).
  • Experience in managing client engagements/project workstreams, working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, HCI, Data Visualisation, or a related field.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
