  • In this role, you will lead the governance and reporting for Group Chief Data & Analytics Officer (GCDAO), working with key senior stakeholders regionally and globally.

  • This is a cross functional role within the CTO COO Governance team which will cover responsibilities within Governance, Function Management & Change Delivery.

Your responsibilities:

Board & Regulatory Governance Planning, Monitoring & Reporting

  • Lead oversight of all Board requirements required GCDAO to govern Data & Analytics.

  • Lead oversight of all Regulatory requirements required for the GCDAO to govern Data & Analytics. Regulators include the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) & the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) in the UK.

  • Lead engagement with relevant Data & Analytics Leadership Team and senior leaders to prepare Board appropriate papers and material.

To lead the preparation of material directly where required.

  • Lead engagement with senior leaders to ensure that appropriate approvals and signoff of material is in place.

  • Engage subject matter experts across functions, levels, and geographies to appropriately and accurately message content of reports and presentations.

  • Manage and respond to regulatory requests and questionnaires where required.

Data & Analytics Governance Planning, Monitoring & Reporting

  • Oversee and lead the continuing development, implementation and improvement of governance processes and framework to support compliance to Group and Chief Technology Office (CTO) Policies and Standards.

  • Develop and refresh Data & Analytics governance model(s) on an ongoing basis in line with bank policy.

  • Design high quality presentations and visuals suitable to diverse range of audiences. Ensure consistency in messaging and content across deliverables throughout CTO COO and DAO, locally and globally.

  • Leading strategic initiatives within DAO Governance and for the wider CTO and DAO organisation, helping develop a community of data professionals and involvement in activity relating to the data strategy and coordination of wider CTO, Data and governance activities / deliverables.

Management of Data & Analytics Committees & Governance

  • Organise and manage DAO meetings acting as secretariat where appropriate.

  • Oversight of all requirements required for the GCDAO to govern Data & Analytics.

  • Lead engagement with relevant Data & Analytics Leadership Team and senior leaders to prepare committee appropriate papers and material.

  • Prepare and coordinate any Data & Analytics committee communications as required.

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Change Management: Leading the end-to-end process of project delivery from Strategic Planning to Implementation, Execution and Transitioning to BAU.

  • Supporting the delivery and management of projects using both Agile and Waterfall frameworks, input into process design and PMO reporting.

  • Continuous Improvement: Play a role in leading the continuing development, implementation, and improvement of processes across CTO COO and DAO.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

Technical Skills:

  • Impactful content creation and board presentation writing: Proven experience producing Board / LT ready papers and packs (clear narrative, crisp recommendations, and decision-focused structure).

  • Strong visual communication - slide design, storyboarding, executive summaries and consistent messaging across deliverables.

  • Ability to translate complex governance / data / technology messages into simple compelling messages for mix audiences. High attention to detail

  • Governance: Ability to ensure submissions meet required standards (e.g., completeness, evidence, risk/issue articulation, dependencies, impacts).

Management of relevant governance committees.

  • Project management: Strong experience managing a high-volume workload of concurrent requests and ad hoc projects, often with short lead times and shifting priorities.

  • Ability to triage and prioritise incoming asks.

  • Stakeholder management: Strong capability to engage and influence across senior stakeholders, including pre-briefs, alignment, and securing approvals/sign- off.

  • Project delivery: Demonstrated track record delivering outcomes through cross- functional teams, ensuring quality, timeliness, and controlled execution.
