The Role
GIS Enterprise Architect for UK based Telecom company for large implementation of Network Inventory.
Your responsibilities:
Experience in Designing, Implementing and Managing Desktop, Web and Mobile GIS Systems (on Prem/Cloud)
Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor)
Experience in UNM Data Model (preferably Telecom)
Knowledge of various GIS Data formats (EGDB, FGDB, Shapefiles, CSV etc)
Strong Leadership, Communication, Documentation and Problem-Solving skills
Building System Transformation strategies.
Design integration architecture with OSS/BSS, asset management, and data platforms
Establish data architecture and governance models for fiber inventory
Define API, middleware, and event-driven integration patterns
Evaluate and rationalize legacy systems (retain, retire, replace)
Ensure compliance with security, performance, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with business, network engineering, and IT stakeholders
Provide technical leadership across implementation, migration, and rollout phases
Deep expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise and enterprise geospatial ecosystems
Strong understanding of telecom network inventory systems (fiber networks)
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in GIS or any other Engineering stream.
10+ years of experience in enterprise GIS architecture and solution design.
In-depth knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor).
Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Utility Network Management (UNM), especially in the telecom domain.
Solid understanding of telecom network assets, business workflows, and data standards (fiber, coax, copper, wireless).
Experience designing and implementing versioned editing workflows with branch versioning.
Proficient in geodatabase design, domains, subtypes, network rules, associations, and containment modeling.
Deep expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise and enterprise geospatial ecosystems
Strong understanding of telecom network inventory systems (fiber networks)
Experience with system integration (APIs, microservices, ETL pipelines)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and hybrid architectures
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
