The Role
GIS Designer for UK based Telecom company for large implementation of Network Inventory.
Your responsibilities:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in GIS or any other Engineering stream.
8+ years of experience in GIS Applications Development.
In-depth knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor).
Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Utility Network Management (UNM), especially in the telecom domain.
Good Knowledge on Cloud Implementations (AWS/Azure)
Solid understanding of telecom network assets, business workflows, and data standards (fiber, coax, copper, wireless).
Experience designing and implementing versioned editing workflows with branch versioning.
Proficient in geodatabase design, domains, subtypes, network rules, associations, and containment modeling.
Familiar with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS REST API, ArcPy, SOEs/SOIs, and ArcGIS Maps SDKs.
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle, or SQL Server as enterprise GIS databases.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
Experience in Designing, Implementing and Managing Desktop, Web and Mobile GIS Systems Applications.
Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor)
Experience in UNM Data Model (preferably Telecom)
Knowledge of various GIS Data formats (EGDB, FGDB, Shapefiles, CSV etc)
Strong Leadership, Communication, Documentation and Problem-Solving skills
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
Design and Development of use cases related to Utilities and Telecom.
