Your responsibilities:

  • Design and develop highly available, scalable storage management solutions for provisioning, monitoring, and inventory management.
  • Build and maintain automation tools using Python to streamline storage operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop monitoring, alerting, capacity management, and preventive maintenance frameworks for enterprise storage environments.
  • Integrate storage platforms with third-party vendor solutions and internal enterprise applications.
  • Administer and support Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
  • Manage and troubleshoot storage technologies including SAN, NAS, Object Storage, NFS, CIFS, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI.
  • Collaborate with global teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver infrastructure enhancements.
  • Support distributed, scale-out, virtualized, and cloud-based storage architectures across enterprise environments.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex issues across storage, operating system, and network layers.
  • Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives involving cloud, container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift), automation, and observability technologies.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Strong Python programming and automation expertise with experience in developing enterprise applications and infrastructure management tools.
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise storage technologies including SAN, NAS, NFS, CIFS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, Object Storage, RAID, and Scale-out Storage solutions.
  • Proficient in Linux/Unix administration with strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems, storage, and networking environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud, virtualization, and container platforms such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
  • Experience in storage provisioning, monitoring, capacity management, and observability, with the ability to design highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong programming expertise in Python for developing storage management tools, automation solutions, monitoring frameworks, and enterprise applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAN, NAS, Object Storage, NFS, CIFS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, RAID, Scale-out Storage, and storage provisioning, capacity management, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/Unix), container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker), cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), and enterprise infrastructure operations.
