We are seeking an experienced L3 Voice Operations Engineer to play a critical role in the planning, coordination, and installation of technology infrastructure that will enhance both employee and client experiences. This position will be directly involved in the construction and renovation of a new office tower in London, with responsibilities including the installation and integration of voice and data hardware, as well as associated cabling. The role encompasses participating in the planning and execution of installations, overseeing migrations, providing support on the first day of business operations, and delivering ongoing technical assistance for telephony services. Candidates must be available to work weekends as required for project phases.
Your responsibilities:
- Experience with branch office construction, renovations, and relocations, as well as corporate real estate projects
- Support of global voice infrastructure, including incident, problem, and change management
- Expertise in Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) version 12.x or later, including IP endpoints, Cisco Jabber, and Jabber Mobile
- Extensive knowledge of voice technologies, including packetized voice and related protocols such as SIP, MGCP, and ISDN, as well as session management and call routing
- A minimum of five years working with enterprise voice and data systems
- CCNP Collaboration-level knowledge of Cisco technologies (certification preferred but not required)
- Level 3 troubleshooting, analysis, and remediation capabilities
- Support for Level 1 and Level 2 teams through incident escalations
- Ability to communicate effectively with business units during projects and incident response
- Participation in operational acceptance of new deployments and creation of technical documentation for the as-built environment
- Experience tracking work activities in the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Participation in vendor management and governance processes
