TCS screeding are looking for Quantity Surveyors to join our growing team! If you are an experienced QS with a background in floor screeding / floor finishes looking for an exciting opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to add to our expanding Commercial Department. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Commercial Director and will provide support to the Senior Commercial Manager and the Quantity Surveyors.

  • Working closely with our Director and Commercial Department
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Preparing Valuations and Pricing of Variations
  • Review material requirements
  • Monitor costs to ensure budgets are met / Cost analysis
  • Visiting our sites when required
  • Liaising with our contracts team and supervisors on site
  • Dealing with any queries that may arise
  • Checking and Completing Labour Timesheets on a Weekly Basis
  • Completing 'Tick sheets' of the drawings using Excel
  • Any other tasks requested by the Commercial Team

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the Construction Industry
  • Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or a role similar
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Problem solving
  • Good time keeping
  • IT Literate
  • Positive attitude to learning
  • UK Driving Licence is preferred due to the location of the role but is not essential as there are public transport routes
