TCS Consulting is supporting a long-established, family-owned manufacturing business in the search for an experienced Sales Manager. This is a key leadership role within the foundry and metal casting sector, focused on leading the sales function, managing key accounts, developing new business and supporting commercial growth across domestic and export markets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall sales function across domestic and export markets
- Develop and deliver sales strategies to grow market share and achieve agreed targets
- Manage key customer relationships, pricing, contracts and service agreements
- Identify and secure new business with OEMs, contractors, end users and industrial customers
- Provide sales forecasts, pipeline reports and performance updates to the board
- Lead, coach and develop internal and external sales teams
Requirements:
- Proven B2B technical sales experience within or engineering-led manufacturing, foundry, castings or forgings
- Strong understanding of casting processes, metallurgy, engineering drawings or technical specifications
- Experience managing, coaching and developing a sales team
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally
- CRM or ERP experience would be beneficial
