They produce high-quality machined components for a range of industries, working with both metals and plastics. They are looking for a detail-focused Inspection & Packing Operative to ensure their parts meet exacting quality standards and are securely packaged for delivery to their customers. Job Summary -Inspect machined components using measuring tools to confirm they meet drawing tolerances -Use microscopes and visual inspection equipment to check surface finish to ensure it meets our high quality standards -Accurately record inspection results -Pack parts in a secure and protective manner for despatch -Work closely with machinists and office staff to meet customer deadlines Desired Requirements -Experience in using measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges (training can be provided -Good attention to detail and a methodical approach -Reliable, with good organisational skills -Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment is an advantage What\βs on offer? -Competitive pay (dependent on experience) -Stable, long-term role in a friendly, supportive team -Training in inspection and packing procedures -Varied work with different components and materials
