Are you an experienced Health & Safety training professional ready to step into a leadership role? We are seeking a Health & Safety Training professional to lead and develop a well-established training department within a respected construction-focused training provider. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who not only understands accredited safety training but also has the vision and drive to shape strategy, grow capability, and lead a team to the next level.
This role is ideal for a senior Trainer, Training Manager or Technical Lead within construction who is ready to take full ownership of a department and play a key role in the company’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Health & Safety training department, ensuring excellence across all deliveries.
- Oversee and support a team of trainers, providing mentoring, quality assurance and performance management.
- Drive continuous improvement in course content, delivery standards and learner experience.
- Maintain and develop relationships with awarding bodies and accrediting organisations to ensure compliance and uphold standards.
- Lead the development of new courses, including bespoke client programmes and expansion into new sectors.
- Support the business in achieving additional accreditations and expanding service offerings.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align the training strategy with wider business objectives.
- Identify commercial growth opportunities within the training division.
- Maintain oversight of quality assurance processes and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CITB Site Safety Plus qualification.
- AET / PTLLS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or Health & Safety Diploma.
- Strong background within construction Health & Safety training.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring or managing trainers (formally or informally).
- Demonstrable experience developing or improving training programmes.
- Strong knowledge of accreditation and compliance requirements.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of training as a business function.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, forward-thinking individual with a passion for raising standards.
