About The Company: Our client is a distinguished manufacturer specialising in high-end luxury bespoke kitchen, bedroom, and whole-home furniture products. They are currently seeking a skilled Kitchen Fitter to install their custom furniture in clients' homes.
Role: You will predominantly work alongside an experienced installation manager, but we are seeking an individual who can also take initiative and work independently. This is a customer-facing role, so the ideal candidate will maintain high presentation standards and possess exceptional customer service skills, along with outstanding precision and attention to detail.
Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent joinery/carpentry skills with experience in installing bespoke furniture.
- Familiarity with appliance installation, including sinks and taps; knowledge of Quooker tap installation is advantageous.
- Skills in basic plumbing, scribing, accurate levelling of units, and cutting angles for cornice installation.
- Proficient in using a range of hand tools, power tools, and machinery, with a focus on maintenance.
- High attention to detail and a positive, enthusiastic approach to tasks.
- Willingness to learn and maintain a clean work environment in adherence to health and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills with clients and team members.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, ensuring prompt job completion.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding service for personal job satisfaction and client satisfaction.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Must reside within commuting distance of Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire.
- Flexibility to work at clients' homes primarily across the Midlands, with some occasional overnight stays for installations beyond that region.
- Must be able to safely perform lifting and handling tasks as part of the job.
- Clean UK driving license required.
