Our client, a leading civil engineering company, requires a site-based Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Midlands area with a self-delivery background in infrastructure, bridges, earthworks, and drainage experience. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing progress on site in line with commercials and programme.
- Monitoring, forecasting, and reporting on budgets and costs against programme and producing CVRs.
- Reviewing payment applications and agreeing monthly payment valuations.
- Agreeing instructions, change, and processing variations.
- Undertaking take-offs and remeasurements as required.
- Attending client and project progress meetings.
- Agreeing Final Accounts.
Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar qualification and relevant experience.
- 5+ years' experience working on Civil Engineering projects, delivering earthworks and drainage packages.
- Subcontractor and self-delivery experience required.
- NEC Options B & C contract experience.
- Self-sufficient and able to manage projects from start through to final accounts.
- Happy to be site-based 5 days a week.
