The Opportunity
We are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Parts/Stores Technician to join TCR UK Ltd, a leader in Ground Service Equipment (GSE) repair and maintenance. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in the automotive, GSE, or plant machinery parts departments, looking to grow with a rapidly expanding company offering exciting career progression.
Working Days and Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Materials Issue
- Understand the requirements of technicians and issue materials accordingly.
- Provide prompt and courteous counter service, responding to telephone enquiries swiftly.
- Goods Inward
- Check and receive deliveries to the site, maintaining the goods received quarantine area.
- Collect goods from suppliers as required.
- Stock Control
- Participate in stock counts, ensuring reconciliation against inventory.
- Ensure all stock items have appropriate barcodes and full traceability.
- Keep the stock control system up to date and ensure items are located correctly.
What We Are Looking For
- Customer-focused with a strong understanding of stores procedures and systems.
- Organised, accurate, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Literate and numerate with good IT skills and excellent communication.
- Previous experience in a busy parts department, preferably in the automotive, GSE, or plant machinery sectors.
- GCSEs (A-C) in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
