The Opportunity
Join our team as a GSE Technician and play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and vehicles. By maintaining and repairing equipment to the highest standards, you’ll contribute to the seamless operations of our business and help uphold our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on TCR vehicles and plant equipment to required standards.
- Diagnose faults, report findings, and ensure all work is logged accurately in SAP.
- Perform inspections, brake and smoke tests, and consult the Workshop Supervisor before commencing work or ordering parts.
- Maintain effective communication with the Workshop Supervisor regarding updates, additional work, or parts required.
- Label, quarantine, and report any defective tooling, parts, or equipment.
- Ensure compliance with corporate Health and Safety guidelines, ISO 9001 standards, and environmental policies.
- Actively participate in maintaining a safe work environment by reporting hazards, incidents, and near-misses.
What We Are Looking For
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of motor mechanics and vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with SAP systems and workshop operations.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably in a logistics or operational setting.
- LGV Motor Mechanics certification min level 3 (essential).
- LGV 2 and forklift certifications (desirable).
