We have an excellent opportunity for someone with experience gained in an automotive, GSE or plant machinery parts department, looking to join a well-established and rapidly expanding company with exciting progression opportunities.

The role
- Identify and understand the requirements of the technician
- Issue materials to the GSE Technicians
- Provide prompt and courteous counter service, and respond to telephone calls promptly
Goods Inward
- Check and receive deliveries to site
- Organisation and maintenance of goods received quarantine area
- Collection of goods from suppliers as and when required
Stock Control
- Participate in stock counts and reconciliation against inventory
- Ensure stock items have appropriate bar codes attached and there is full traceability of all stored items
- Ensure all items are located correctly and stock control system is updated with location
Shift Pattern
The working week for this position is a Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The contractual start time for this role is flexible, with a start time of 7:30am, 8:00am or 9:00am available.
Knowledge and Skills
- Customer oriented and service delivery focussed
- Understanding of stores procedures and systems
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with good organisational skills as part of a team or individually
- Literate, analytical and numerate with good IT skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in an automotive, GSE or plant machinery parts/stores environment
- GCSE A-C in Math and English or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
You will need to
- Be able to demonstrate your Right To Work in the UK
- Be able to obtain an airside pass which will require you to undergo a criminal record check and 5-year history verification
