TCM Partners are recruiting for a brand new GCP Platform Engineer role, an opportunity to take full ownership of our Google Cloud journey from day one. You’ll join a high performing Platform Team of 5 engineers, where Azure is currently the established cloud provider. Now the client is entering the next phase of their evolution expanding into Google Cloud Platform (GCP). A truly greenfield opportunity where you can build from the ground up and work at the forefront of AI innovation in cloud.
What you’ll be doing in the role:
- Acting as the GCP subject matter expert across the business from an Engineering POV.
- Taking ownership of their GCP landing zone and preparing for go-live.
- Driving best practices in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Shaping the architecture, standards, and future direction of GCP within the organisation.
- Collaborating closely with a skilled and supportive platform team.
Requirements to be considered:
- An experienced Platform Engineer with strong hands-on GCP / Google Cloud knowledge and project experience.
- Knowledge of Gemini & Vertex.
- Passionate about cloud engineering, automation, and modern platform practices.
- Happy to work in Manchester twice a week.
