The E-Commerce QA & Test Automation Engineer role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of E-commerce applications/features through formulating and executing comprehensive testing strategies and automated test solutions.
Working across a team of Transformation experts, this role will be responsible for defining Test Plans, executing test cases, and driving automation initiatives based on business requirements and technical specifications, within an Agile software development environment.
We're looking for someone with:
- 10+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation in an e-commerce environment, with at least 3 years in a lead QA engineer role.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, Junit and experience of cross browser test platforms such as BrowserStack and code quality inspection platforms such as SonarQube.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C# or JavaScript for test automation and experience with API testing using tools such as Postman and cURL.
- Experience with DevOps practices and version control systems including CI/CD build pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Selenium).
- Experience of Secure web and API development best practices (OWASP) and authentication protocols and encryption techniques.
