With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth within the mission-critical sector, we are looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support the delivery of a major Data Centre project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business and play a key role in driving health, safety and wellbeing standards across a flagship project while working closely with operational teams, clients and senior leadership. As Health & Safety Manager, you will take ownership of the health and safety function on a major Data Centre development. You will oversee project activities throughout the construction phase, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, engagement and operational safety are maintained. You will manage a team of Health & Safety Advisors, providing leadership, support and guidance while promoting a proactive and positive safety culture across the project. Lead all health and safety activities across a major Data Centre project. Manage and support a team of Health & Safety Advisors on site. Act as the primary point of contact for client health and safety matters, building strong working relationships and maintaining stakeholder confidence. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, company policies and client requirements. Conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions where required. Produce and review risk assessments, method statements and health and safety documentation. Drive a positive safety culture through engagement, coaching and leadership. Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager within the construction or MEP sector. Previous experience working on Data Centre projects is essential. NEBOSH Diploma preferred, although candidates holding a NEBOSH Certificate with relevant experience will also be considered. Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and industry best practice. Ability to influence site teams and drive positive behavioural safety initiatives.
