Brand Engagement Specialist (Community & Live) – Slough, UK (Hybrid – office & remote)
We’re looking for a confident communicator and tech enthusiast to join TCL’s marketing team as a Brand Engagement Specialist, a role that blends online community engagement with live presenting. This position plays a key role in helping us educate and connect with our audience—both through digital forums and interactive live streams.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a natural curiosity about consumer tech, and the confidence to speak both behind the screen and in front of the camera. Product knowledge is central to this role, as you’ll be helping audiences understand TCL’s technology—whether that’s answering questions on Reddit or demonstrating features live on TikTok.
Don’t worry—we’ll provide full product training and live stream support. What matters most is your ability to clearly and enthusiastically communicate complex information in an engaging and trustworthy way.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement & Opinion Monitoring
- Monitor platforms like Reddit and review sites to understand sentiment, correct misinformation, and join relevant conversations.
- Actively engage in community discussions to build trust and position TCL as a knowledgeable and approachable brand.
- Identify influential users, trends, and risks, and compile weekly sentiment insights for internal teams.
- Live Stream Presenting & Audience Education
- Act as a presenter on live commerce streams (TikTok), delivering engaging, informative product demos and interacting with viewers in real time.
- Explain complex features and technology in a clear, confident, and compelling way.
- Collaborate with marketing, agency, and customer service teams to prepare and support each stream.
- Help develop and grow our TikTok live strategy—including creator sourcing, affiliate marketing planning, and exploring new content ideas.
- Some live sessions may take place during non-standard hours (e.g. evenings or weekends), so flexibility is required.
