TCi (GB) Ltd provides commercial & industrial new-build construction, interior fit-out & refurbishment, office and welfare furniture supply and installation. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join a successful Warehouse and Furniture Installation team, within a busy company environment.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Sorting and storing products in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
- Operating warehouse equipment
- Conducting stock checks and ensuring inventory accuracy
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and organised at all times
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies
- Assisting with the preparation and dispatch of client requests
- Reporting any damages or stock discrepancies to the supervisor
- Supporting other team members and assisting with any ad-hoc warehouse duties as required
- Supporting the team with furniture installation, ensuring products are assembled and installed to the highest standard
- Completion of all necessary paperwork and administration relating to the role
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Basic IT skills (e.g., using warehouse management systems)
- A good level of physical fitness, as the role may involve manual lifting
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential for the role (if required for duties such as delivery driving or vehicle movement)
- Ability to pass BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) vetting as required by the role
