The Company
We are a small business creating educational events with well-known authors and public speakers across the UK, Europe, and the US, as well as marketing other products connected to personal development. We work closely with speakers exploring the bridges between science and spirituality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with end-to-end event planning and delivery, including itineraries, logistics, and on-site coordination
- Manage volunteers, including recruitment, scheduling, and oversight
- Liaise with venues, hotels, and vendors to coordinate event requirements, applications, and logistics
- Support venue sourcing and selection
- Coordinate catering and food & beverage requirements
- Manage hotel bookings and transport arrangements for speakers, staff, and guests
- Oversee registration processes and attendee management
- Assign seating and support event layout planning
- Write and distribute event briefs
- Build and maintain project workflows (e.g. Asana boards)
- Proofread and edit emails and website content
- Update website copy with event information
- Support with general event-related tasks as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in events or a similar coordination role preferred
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Canva, and Asana
- Comfortable working with digital tools and project management systems
Working Hours
Full-time role, Monday to Friday, with a mix of remote and office-based work as required for event preparation. You will also be required to travel internationally to support events where necessary. Work may also include weekends.
