We are looking for an accomplished Account Director to lead a portfolio of global clients, delivering strategic, creative, and commercially sound PR campaigns. This is a senior client‑facing role requiring exceptional media relationships, confident leadership, and a deep understanding of how agencies operate at pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior day‑to‑day lead for multiple luxury travel and hospitality accounts
- Own client relationships, acting as a trusted strategic advisor
- Develop long‑term PR strategies that deliver measurable impact
- Lead client meetings, quarterly reviews, and new campaign presentations
Media Strategy & Press Office Excellence
- Oversee and direct press office activity across all accounts
- Leverage senior‑level relationships with top‑tier UK and international travel, luxury, lifestyle, and business media
- Secure standout coverage across print, online, broadcast, and digital platforms
- Lead press trips, international media visits, hotel launches, and destination campaigns
Commercial & Agency Performance
- Manage account budgets, forecasting, and retainers to ensure profitability
- Identify and drive opportunities for account growth and upselling
- Support new business pitches, credentials, and proposals
- Ensure all work is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard
- Closely line‑manage Account Managers and Account Executives
- Provide strategic direction, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Play a key role in resource planning and team development
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and high‑performing team culture
Industry Insight & Thought Leadership
- Stay ahead of trends across luxury travel, hospitality, aviation, wellness, and destinations

Skills & Experience
- 6–8+ years’ PR experience within an agency environment
- Strong background in luxury travel, hospitality, or premium lifestyle PR
- Proven track record of delivering high‑impact coverage and campaigns
- Exceptional client handling and presentation skills
- Experience managing retainers, budgets, and multiple accounts
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling ability
