TCC Plant Limited was established in 2020 and has grown into a dynamic business with an exceptional client base. Over the years, we’ve expanded our fleet to over 100 machines, supported by a network of skilled operators working throughout Teesside and across the UK. Based in Middlesbrough, TCC Plant operates in a range of sectors, including:
- Crushing & Screening
- Haulage and Site Services

Salary & Hours
Hourly Rate: £19 per hour for a 40-hour standard workweek.
Overtime: £28.50 per hour (time and a half) for hours exceeding 40, including weekends.
Company Van: Provided for commuting and work-related travel.
Fuel: Access to a fuel card or on-site refueling at the TCC depot.
Standard tools and shelving supplied.
Additional tools for specific tasks will be provided by TCC (retained as TCC property).
Holiday: 21 days annual leave + bank holidays.
Job Responsibilities
Your role as a Plant Fitter/Mechanic will include, but is not limited to:
- Maintenance & Repairs: service and repair a wide range of plant machinery.
- Ensure all machinery is operational and ready for hire.
- Alternate between working at the TCC depot workshop and on-site locations.
- Wash plant machinery before commencing repairs when required.
- Maintain an up-to-date maintenance and service schedule.
- Report defects discovered during off-hire inspections to the office.
Parts & Stock Management
- Order parts and service kits necessary for your work.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels in all maintenance departments.
- Ensure the van, yard, and workshop are tidy and comply with safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Plant Fitter/Mechanic.
- Ability to diagnose, service, and repair various plant machinery.
- Strong organisational skills to manage schedules and stock efficiently.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness.
