We're seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a high-performing team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver end-to-end procurement activity across a range of projects, driving value, efficiency, and compliance in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote for the duration of the project. This role is a contract position working inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end procurement activity, from sourcing strategy through to contract award
  • Engage stakeholders to understand requirements and provide commercial support
  • Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and selection
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and relevant regulations
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships to drive value and performance
  • Support contract management activities, including risk mitigation and performance tracking
  • Produce clear procurement documentation, reports, and audit trails

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a procurement or sourcing role within complex environments
  • Experience across Estates, Finance, People, Pensions and Operations
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, governance, and best practice
  • Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and deliver commercial outcomes
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple procurement activities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Desirable

  • Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations or frameworks
  • Professional procurement accreditation (e.g. CIPS)
