Reports to : Nursing Coordinator
Salary : $35 / hour
Minimum Qualifications :
Coursework in Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution
Minimum of three years\β professional teaching experience in Anatomy & Physiology or related discipline.
Strong knowledge of human body systems, physiology, and related laboratory practices.
Ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
Commitment to student success and workforce preparation.
Must possess a valid Tennessee driver\βs license.
General Duties :
This adjunct instructional position will provide high-quality, competency-based instruction in Anatomy & Physiology to prepare students for careers in healthcare and related fields.
Key Responsibilities β Essential Job Functions :
Deliver engaging lectures and demonstration sessions in accordance with the program curriculum and guidelines.
Develop and update lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.
Evaluate and record student performance, maintaining accurate attendance and grade records.
Maintain current knowledge of trends and developments in Anatomy & Physiology and related healthcare fields.
Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students.
Collaborate with faculty and administration to improve instructional quality and student learning outcomes.
Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed in the classroom.
Contribute to program accreditation efforts and institutional assessment activities.
Maintain confidentiality of student records and institutional information.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Coordinator.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions (ADA Requirements) :
Standing, walking, and demonstration in a classroom setting.
Lifting and moving instructional equipment, materials, and supplies (up to 40 lbs).
Operating a motor vehicle for travel within the college service area.
Background checks will be completed on all new hires. Instructors will be asked to sign a background release authorizing TCAT β McMinnville to complete a background check which will include the following: Sex Offender Registry, County Criminal & Federal Criminal.
