The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

We are looking to strengthen our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team with the appointment of a 2yr+ PQE solicitor / senior solicitor based in our Edinburgh office. You will be part of a team of litigators who have extensive experience in a range of civil disputes. This role will involve working closely with the Partners to continue to expand the team’s work and practice.

What to expect in this role:

  • You will join a growing team and enjoy a diverse case load with the opportunity to up-skill in a range of areas.
  • The role will involve conducting Civil Sheriff Court matters and Court of Session work and some alternate dispute resolution, with appropriate support from the wider team.
  • Business development training and opportunities.

Who are we looking for:

  • The successful candidate will need civil litigation experience, preferably in both the Sheriff Courts and Court of Session.
  • Strong drafting and advocacy-ready communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and deliver clear, commercial advice.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload, progressing matters proactively and handling competing priorities.
  • Confidence working independently and supporting others in a range of disputes.
  • A collaborative approach, working within the team to support others, including trainees and paralegals.
  • Ambition to build your practice and progress within a friendly, flexible firm, as the team grows.
