We are looking to strengthen our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team with the appointment of a 2yr+ PQE solicitor / senior solicitor based in our Edinburgh office. You will be part of a team of litigators who have extensive experience in a range of civil disputes. This role will involve working closely with the Partners to continue to expand the team’s work and practice.
What to expect in this role:
- You will join a growing team and enjoy a diverse case load with the opportunity to up-skill in a range of areas.
- The role will involve conducting Civil Sheriff Court matters and Court of Session work and some alternate dispute resolution, with appropriate support from the wider team.
- Business development training and opportunities.
Who are we looking for:
- The successful candidate will need civil litigation experience, preferably in both the Sheriff Courts and Court of Session.
- Strong drafting and advocacy-ready communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and deliver clear, commercial advice.
- Ability to manage your own caseload, progressing matters proactively and handling competing priorities.
- Confidence working independently and supporting others in a range of disputes.
- A collaborative approach, working within the team to support others, including trainees and paralegals.
- Ambition to build your practice and progress within a friendly, flexible firm, as the team grows.
