TC Young are looking to strengthen their Property team with the appointment of a Paralegal, to be based in our Edinburgh office.
This role is full-time and would suit an individual looking to progress their career in a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
The successful individual will enjoy an interesting mix of work, dealing with a variety of a variety of conveyancing and leasing transactions.
We are seeking an individual who enjoys a varied workload and client contact, and who thrives on being part of busy team. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
Key responsibilities…
- Managing own workload to meet client deadlines
- Dealing promptly with client instructions
- Managing property and leasing transactions.
- Liaising with our Estate Agent and dealing with ESPC matters.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other third parties.
- Pro-actively attending to file management
- Providing support to other members of the Property team
What we are looking for ….
- A registered paralegal, preferably with 1-year relevant experience.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred, dealing with purchase and sale transactions, title queries (in both sasine and Land Registers), notices of potential liability.
- Excellent communication skills – written & oral;
- Ability to prioritise and manage case load effectively
- Strong business awareness of deadlines and working under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
