About The HR Advisor Role
We are TC Group, the fastest‑growing top 20 accountancy firm in the UK. We’re business advisors and accountants with over 30 years of experience. Due to rapid growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our client services HR team in Southampton. As part of our national team, you will be supporting the delivery of our Cross Sell Programme and helping grow our HR presence in the region. Working closely with the HR Business Partner and the HR Assistant, you will support a variety of clients providing wide‑ranging HR advice and support via email and telephone, mainly. You will also be involved in onboarding new clients and the monthly client billing process. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience within a fast‑paced environment. Travel to client sites may be required; a car and driving licence are essential.
About You
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR advisory level role
- Experience in an HR Consultancy environment is an advantage
- Well‑developed EQ to adapt to working styles and manage team and client requirements
- Lead small to mid‑sized clients, delivering proactive, legally smart, commercial solutions for performance, absence, disciplinary, grievances, redundancy, dismissal, and change‑management processes
- Understanding of a service‑led environment that supports multiple sectors and cultures
- Strong experience in producing documents or presentations from a brief, verbal or written
- Assist with complex matters as directed by senior team members
- Excellent relationship and communication skills
- Maintains confidentiality

- Keenness to drive personal development in a professional services environment
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, respond promptly to clients
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; BreatheHR and IRIS advantageous
