Nottingham Tax Full time Permanent

Salary - Competitive dependant on experience

Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with core hours/flexitime

Holiday - 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Advisor to join our team in Nottingham. Previous tax experience is essential as is finding the right fit to complement our existing team. Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Preparation and review of personal and corporate tax returns for a varied client base
  • Provide tailored tax advice, identifying planning opportunities and ensuring compliance with current legislation
  • Handle complex project work, including tax planning, restructuring, and ad hoc advisory assignments
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Monitor deadlines and manage competing priorities to ensure timely delivery of work
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and proactively communicate impacts to clients

About You - We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Ideally ATT or CTA qualified or working towards
  • Relevant experience of working in an accountancy practice
  • Good technical knowledge of personal and corporate tax
  • Proactive and energetic in every task undertaken
  • Seek direction from others when appropriate, achieve objectives, drive feedback, cope well with pressure and show genuine interest
  • Strong desire to exceed expectations and drive own career
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adopts calm and assured approach, makes time for people, shares knowledge
  • Ability to juggle a number of jobs, whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines and expectations are met
