The Outsourcing Manager will lead the delivery of outsourced finance services to a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client experience. This role involves managing a team, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in delivering the services of an outsourced finance function, inclusive of management reporting, timely submission of VAT returns and reviewing accurate bookkeeping, maintaining the required standard and in line with agreed expectations.
- Deliver management reporting and interpret financial data to support client decisions.
- Review management accounts and KPI reports, tailored to client needs.
- Identify additional service opportunities and support cross‑selling.
- Advancement of technology/software in the department to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensuring a consistent approach is taken to tasks across the team and wider firm.
- Collaborate with other service lines to ensure consistent delivery.
- Maintain CPD and stay up to date with accounting standards and legislation.
- Responsibility for enhancing team skills to ensure competent to complete daily roles.
About You:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent). (Preferred)
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commercially aware and client‑focused.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cloud accounting software.
- Proactive and adaptable with problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient knowledge of VAT and various schemes. (Preferred)
