We offer a Tax Trainee role at our centrally located office in Bournemouth, close to rail and bus links. With training you will assist with tax compliance on a portfolio of private clients and help ensure accurate and efficient delivery of tax compliance services. You will work towards an internationally recognised tax qualification (ATT) and progress to CTA while gaining valuable on-the-job experience.

Key Responsibilities Of a Tax Trainee Will Include:

  • Assisting with preparation of personal and business tax returns
  • Preparing P11Ds, capital gains tax computations and compliance documentation under supervision
  • Supporting senior tax staff on advisory and planning projects
  • Corresponding with HMRC and clients in a professional manner
  • Assisting with general tax team administration

About You:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4-9 including English and Maths and an excellent academic record including A Levels
  • Keen to learn and develop a career in tax
  • Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organised with the ability to manage deadlines
