Job Title: Business Services Senior
Type: Full time
Contract: Permanent
Salary – £35,000 per annum
Hours – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working
Holiday – 20 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)
About the Role
We are TC Group, a fast‑growing accountancy firm. We offer a range of bespoke support and advice to ambitious business owners and their businesses. This opportunity is for a Business Services Senior to join our Borehamwood office.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Preparation of VAT Returns and CIS returns
- Sales and Purchase Ledger processing
- Managing prepayments and accruals
- Bank reconciliations
- Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
- Reconciliation of accounts
About You
- Practical work experience in a practice environment
- Experience using Sage, Xero and related applications preferred
- Strong IT skills
- Provide app advisory services and deliver software (Xero) training and support to clients
- Handle daily/weekly bookkeeping and VAT return preparation; primary contact for clients on record‑keeping matters
- Ability to manage own tasks, good time‑management and work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Statutory accounts preparation experience
- Experience training and reviewing work of outsourcing staff
- Self‑discipline, organised, proactive and able to make and justify own decisions
- IRIS Accountancy suite experience is ideal
