About The Bookkeeper Role

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team in our Norwich office. You will be responsible for managing day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities Of a Bookkeeper Will Include

  • Bookkeeping for clients
  • Keeping Xero and Quickbooks up to date
  • Filing VAT returns
  • Checking clients bookkeeping for accuracy
  • Managing deadlines
  • Liaising with clients to obtain information and answer to queries

About You –

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice
  • ideally ICB qualified but will consider qualified by experience
  • extensive working use of bookkeeping software – Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, Dext preferable
  • ability to manage own workload
  • enthusiastic and motivated team player with a “can do” attitude
  • accurate data entry skills with excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • analytical and problem solving skills
  • methodical, organised with the ability to multitask
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
