Salary: Competitive dependent on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Holiday: 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) after 5 years’ completed service; holiday increases by one day for each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days).

Are you an experienced, technically brilliant Audit RI looking for a new challenge? We are looking for an Audit Director to join our team in our Borehamwood office. This is an opportunity to work alongside the Partners to lead and manage a comprehensive external audit service to a range of clients in the SME sector. The role is an opportunity to be part of the growth of the office and comes with excellent career progression.

Key Responsibilities Of An Audit Director Will Include:

  • Audit RI – responsible for signing off on audit files and delivering excellent technical advice to clients and the team.
  • Lead on firm compliance delivering high quality audits to our clients in the SME sector with support from the wider audit team to deliver the onsite work.
  • Build relationships with the clients so that you are the “go-to” person and manage their expectations, their audit, and our team to deliver robust, high quality audits.
  • Effectively manage and develop the team and be a motivational and inspirational role model.
  • Identify and deliver added value services to the clients to help them prosper, win new work, and convert leads to support departmental and office growth.

About You

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years practice audit experience is essential.
  • ACA or ACCA qualified RI Status.
  • Previous experience of leading and managing a team.
  • Excellent technical knowledge, e.g., UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISA’s.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and developing effective, long-lasting working relationships at all levels.
  • Tech-savvy, proficient in all Microsoft packages.
  • Dedicated and excited to immerse yourself in our culture and business and be part of the firm's future growth & succession.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Technically advanced and a trusted expert in the field.
  • Must have own car and full driving licence.
