About the Role:

Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Manager at our Hertford office. The ideal candidate will be hard working and confident in their ability to manage a workload of their own alongside managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, involving workforce planning, management of WIP and billing
- Briefing team members on assignments, ensuring everyone has a clear understanding of the plans
- Overseeing junior team members, delegating work, and signing off on files prepared by them - ensuring work is done within budget
- Strengthening existing client relationships and building rapport with new clients
- Contributing to ongoing process improvement and best practice development
About You:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience gained within an accountancy practice
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- Great attention to detail along with strong organisational skills
- Confident in building relationships with clients and internal team
- Pro-active and positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal
