The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of clients and assisting the partners and managers in the completion of Audit assignments and drafting statutory accounts, either individually or as part of a team to agreed budgets and deadlines.
All Audits are allocated to a manager so you will be working with the support and guidance of managers who have been with the firm for many years.

- What You'll Be Doing
- Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, assessing and reviewing the budgets through to completing an analytical review
- Leading smaller audits, supervising, delegating and reviewing work of trainees
- Accounts preparation including corporation tax
- Delivering information to clients in a timely manner whilst displaying in-depth client and industry knowledge
- Monitoring your chargeability and your assignment budgets pro-actively
- Developing specialist sector knowledge and keep abreast of industry developments
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a practice focusing on SME / Owner Managed Clients
- Ideally a mixture of Audit/Accountancy/Corporate Tax experience with Audit being essential
- Familiarity with My Workpapers and Iris would be advantageous
- Ability to work on assignments either individually or as part of the small team that we have
- Be authentic in every situation and like to be connected to your team, clients and local communities
- Like to listen and understand, to show up every day with passion and to stand up for things that matter to you
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Be driven to succeed, take initiative and want result
