The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to build your career within the IFA sector, with ongoing development and progression opportunities. Based in Portsmouth, the role includes occasional travel to other offices and client sites, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintaining up to date client fact find information and client files
  • Processing new business applications including liaising with providers
  • Obtaining plan information from providers
  • Document management / scanning
  • Assisting advisers with research / preparation to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day business
  • Preparing annual reviews for adviser client meetings
  • General office duties, including answering telephones, preparing meeting packs for client appointments and reviews, administrative support to the Director of Financial Planning.

What We're Looking For

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, grade C or above
  • At least 2+ years’ experience working within an IFA environment or Wealth Management Practice
  • Good working knowledge of pensions and investments
  • Excellent IT Skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills as a minimum
  • Experience using Intelligent Office, client relationship management system would be advantageous
  • Highly personable with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Commitment to delivering excellent client service
