Salary – competitive
Hours – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Holiday – 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) to be booked when you like, allowance increases by one day per year of service following 5 years’ service (up to a maximum of 33 days)

About The AAT Apprentice Role
We are TC Group, the fastest‑growing top 20 accountancy firm in the UK. We’re business advisors and accountants, with over 30 years of experience we’ve honed our skills and developed our service offering to deliver a much wider range of bespoke support and advice to ambitious business owners and their businesses. Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an AAT Apprentice in our Plymouth office. We’re looking for candidates to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who has already left college looking to take that first step towards a career in accountancy.
Through a combination of invaluable on‑the‑job training and attendance at college, you will be given support to complete the AAT level 2 & 3 apprenticeship with further study options beyond to continue onto a level 4 AAT & level 7 ACA apprenticeship. You will develop the required knowledge and skills to be able to support the wider team with the processing of tax returns, VAT returns, preparing accounts and bookkeeping for a variety of clients.
About You
- 3 A‑Levels grade C or above in any subject
- Good Excel skills an advantage
- Good organisational skills
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Collaborative team‑worker
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to self‑evaluate and continuously improve from feedback
- Genuine interest in accountancy and what makes a business tick
- No prior experience necessary, full training will be provided
