Salary – competitive depending on experience
Hours – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working
Holiday – 27 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)
About the role
We are TC Group, the fastest-growing top 20 accountancy firm in the UK. We are business advisors and accountants, with over 30 years of experience we have honed our skills and developed our service offering to deliver a much wider range of bespoke support and advice to ambitious business owners and their businesses. We have an exciting role for a Tax Senior Manager or Associate Director with a compliance tax background to join our Northampton office. We would also consider a very experienced Tax Manager who is looking for their next step in their career.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working within the Tax team, CSD's and wider team to grow the tax advisory offering
- Travelling to other offices to visit the internal team to develop their advisory offering
- Spotting opportunities within the team and help develop junior staff
- Managing own flow of work and delegating appropriately
- Implementation of projects in support of Tax Directors and CSD's
- Responding to internal tax queries from other departments
- Identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years of advisory experience
- Mixed tax experience with a steer to corporate tax
- ACA / CTA qualified or equivalent
- Have a solid advisory background within Practice
- Previous client facing experience would be advantageous
- Ability to learn and develop own knowledge
- Good communication skills
