About the role
We’re looking for an Audit Quality Transactions Lead to play a key role in driving audit quality and supporting acquisition activity across a growing accountancy group. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with strong exposure to M&A, audit due diligence, and post-acquisition integration. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders including Partners, Responsible Individuals (RIs), M&A teams, and external advisers helping to shape audit quality and consistency across the business. The role is internally focused and is non-client facing - your ‘clients’ are the Group’s Audit Partners. No timesheets are required, enabling you to focus on delivering high-quality outcomes rather than time tracking. What you’ll be doing
- Lead and support audit and compliance due diligence on acquisitions
- Review audit files, identify risks, and contribute to DD reporting
- Act as a key contact for sellers during due diligence
- Support integration activities
