About The Bookkeeper Role:
We are TC Group, the fastest-growing top 20 accountancy firm in the UK. We’re business advisors and accountants, with over 30 years of experience we’ve honed our skills to deliver a wide range of bespoke support and advice to ambitious business owners and their businesses. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team at our Boston office. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will attend client visits to carry out bookkeeping services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending client premises to undertake bookkeeping on-site
- Bank reconciliations
- Posting transactions
- Reconciling sales and purchase ledgers
- Keeping Sage and Xero up to date
- Dealing with client queries as and when they arise
About You / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice
- AAT qualified
- Understanding of agriculture accounts is advantageous
- Experience in using Sage and Xero is preferred
- Ability to manage own tasks, good time management and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Enthusiastic and motivated team player with a 'can do' attitude
- Passionate about great service in order to provide a high level of client care
- Presents themselves in a professional manner during client interactions
