Salary – Competitive dependant on experience

Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, working from home flexible one day per week

Holiday – 20 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)

About the Bookkeeper role

We are TC Group, the fastest-growing top 20 accountancy firm in the UK. We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team in our Norwich office. You will be responsible for managing day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities of a Bookkeeper will include:

  • Bookkeeping for clients
  • Keeping Xero and Quickbooks up to date
  • Filing VAT returns
  • Checking clients bookkeeping for accuracy
  • Managing deadlines
  • Liaising with clients to obtain information and answer to queries

About you – We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice
  • Ideally ICB qualified but will consider qualified by experience
  • Extensive working use of bookkeeping software - Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, Dext preferable
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Enthusiastic and motivated team player with a β€œcan do” attitude
  • Accurate data entry skills with excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Methodical, organised with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
