Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working

TC Group is the fastest‑growing top 20 accountancy firm in the UK, delivering bespoke support and advice to ambitious business owners across the country. We are looking for a Bookkeeper who joins our Peterborough office to work with TC Bulley Davey.
Responsibilities
- Balancing accounts, reconciliations, reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements
- Draft and submit CIS returns
- Processing sales and purchase invoices, receipts and payments
- Preparing and filing VAT returns for clients
- Communicating directly with HMRC when necessary, undertaking general administration tasks
- Providing training to clients on various packages and bookkeeping skills as required
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice
- Ideally AAT qualified but will consider qualified by experience
- Extensive working use of Xero software
- Ability to work both independently, direct liaison with clients, as well as part of a team in supporting and supervising roles
- Positive team‑player with a \"can do\" attitude
- Accurate data entry skills with excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with Sage and Quickbooks would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate about great service to provide a high level of client care
