Salary – Competitive dependant on experience

Hours – Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working

Holiday – 20 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays). After 5 completed years\’ service, will be entitled to accrue an additional day per year of service, up to a maximum of 5 additional days.

TC Primera in Borehamwood are seeking a detail-orientated and proactive Audit Senior to join our team.

You will oversee the entire audit process from planning to completion, while guiding and supporting new trainees in their development. Keeping track of client deadlines and ensuring they are consistently met is essential. Working closely with senior management, you\’ll contribute to company growth by assisting with target setting and budgeting. You\’ll also identify opportunities to enhance client services and actively promote the department through confident networking. Leading the audit team, you\’ll embody and promote the firm\’s values, maintain professional communication with clients, and serve as a strong role model and leader for your team.

Key responsibilities of an Audit Senior will include:

  • Manage audits from planning to completion
  • Mentor new trainees and support with their learning and development
  • Monitor client deadlines and ensure these are met
  • Able to work alongside and part of the senior management team and support with company growth
  • Assist with target setting and department budgeting
  • Ability to identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients
  • Confident in networking to promote the department
  • Overseeing the audit team and championing the firm\’s values within the team
  • Provide professional client-facing communication skills
  • Set an example for the team as a natural leader

About you

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with audit experience within practice
  • Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
  • Technically efficient in both audit and accounting
  • Experience with IRIS, Myworkpapers, Xero, Sage and Excel is required
  • Embraces new technology
  • A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
  • Previous supervisory experience, with a positive attitude
  • Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
