Job Description
Salary – Competitive dependant on experience
Hours – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working
Holiday – 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)
About the Accounts Senior role

Due to growth an exciting opportunity has opened up in our Milton Keynes office for an Accounts Senior. This is a really varied role managing a portfolio of mixed clients and whilst your primary base will be in our Milton Keynes office, our growing Accounts team operate with a joined up one team ideology, across Milton Keynes, Northampton and Leicester which from time to time may require collaborating with colleagues and clients in each of these locations.

Key responsibilities of a Accounts Senior will include:
- Manage a portfolio of mixed clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be reviewing and reporting on account performance, undertaking client visits and promoting positive client engagement.
- Building effective working relationships with the Client service Directors (CSD’s )& Client service Manager (CSM’s) for the growth of the account and the client base.
- To continuously seek business development opportunities across the multi service lines TC Group offer and provide services to best serve the clients.
- Support with projects and activities to develop the service line.
- Assisting in developing junior members of staff.
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or QBE, must have significant demonstrable experience within an accountancy practice background.
- You must have a good standard of accounting and tax knowledge.
- You will be adept at organising your time and completing jobs for review by the management team to a high level of accuracy and completeness, with resolution of queries evident.
- Personable with excellent communication skills and able to develop strong relationships.
- You should be proficient in MS Office / highly PC literate, along with sound accounting system knowledge including IRIS and other accounting software packages.
- Must be extremely organized and flexible, with a positive, solutions-based perspective.
