Due to significant growth, our Borehamwood office has an opportunity for a full‑time Apprentice to join the busy team from September.
Joining the team as an Accounts Apprentice, you’ll work towards a formal accountancy qualification and start your journey towards a fulfilling and rewarding career. Key Responsibilities- Process purchase invoices, sales invoices, and receipts into Xero.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are correctly coded.
- Upload supplier invoices and receipts to Dext.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Support invoice processing and payment runs.
- Track outstanding supplier invoices and customer balances.
- Assist with month‑end bookkeeping tasks.
- Participate in training and development related to bookkeeping and accounting systems.
- A level passes in accounts, business, economics or maths preferred, but not essential.
- High level of organisation and ability to manage multiple documents and tasks.
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn accounting principles and bookkeeping processes.
- Ability to use accounting software.
- Good IT skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets and digital record systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliability and ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines such as month‑end tasks.
